This policy explains what personal information iBossIT.com collects, why, and what rights you have. The website is run by Tom Brett, who is the data controller for information collected here.

1. What we collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and message when you contact us.
• Server logs: our web host automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used for security and to keep the site running.
• Session cookie: the contact page sets one temporary cookie so the security code (captcha) works. It is deleted when you close your browser.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell your information.

2. How we use it

• To reply to your message.
• To protect the website from spam and abuse.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering enquiries and keeping the site secure), or your consent where you choose to contact us.

3. How long we keep it

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and no longer than 12 months unless we need them for an ongoing matter. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host.

4. Sharing

We don't share your information except with our web hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf, or where the law requires it.

5. Other services we link to

The Can Do It Shop is run by Spreadshirt, and the daily inspiration emails by Yesify.me. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply. Subliminals Pro runs on your own computer and doesn't send us any personal data.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. To make a request, please contact us.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no website or email can be guaranteed 100% secure.

8. Children

This website isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
